AsiaWorks and Nanyang Foundation team to offer a family training for single parents
September 13, 2004

Petaling Jaya — Asiaworks Training Sdn Bhd announced today it will partner with the NanYang Foundation to offer a Family Training to single parents and their children, as well as any other close family members, for an opportunity to celebrate their family.

In this fun two-and-a-half day workshop, family members will explore together how their family works and plays, and how they can expand and enrich their relationships.

Gordon Sutton of AsiaWorks said, "Family relationships are fundamental in our lives and deeply influential in so many ways. Family is our first experience of people, our first awareness of connection, and our first team activity. In this training these families will have the opportunity to learn to communicate more openly and honestly, be more spontaneous, have more fun together and be more supportive of each other."

In the Family Training, they'll get coaching on how they can be the family they want to be. The weekend is about having their family win - to become the best they can be (and forgive each other in the moments they are not), to grow together and to know that the family is always changing.

The Family Training contains themes such as honesty, trust, responsibility, choice, intention, integrity and keeping agreements. All themes are presented in a manner that is appropriate for families with a single parent and school age children and teenagers present in the workshop.

The training will be delivered by AsiaWorks Training which is one of Asia's leading experiential training and consulting companies, offering a wide range of workshops in personal awareness and personal effectiveness to individuals, corporations and other organisations.  AsiaWorks has worked in partnership with Nan Yang Foundation in the last few years delivering high impact workshops for underprivileged teenagers from charitable homes throughout peninsular Malaysia.
